About this app

A website will not load and you want to know what happened? Enter its domain in Site Status. The 1kApps server tries to reach it and gives you a straightforward result, with technical details to help you investigate.

The check covers the domain or subdomain, not individual pages. It looks up DNS, tries to connect, validates HTTPS and checks the HTTP response, following safe redirects. The result distinguishes a response, an error, a restriction and a connection failure.

Copy the diagnosis or download a 1kApps PDF to send to your internet or hosting provider. You can choose whether to include your public IP. When another IP has checked the same domain, charts show recorded checks from the last 45 days and today's hours, along with recent failures.

Checks are made on demand and require internet access. A check from our server does not prove that the site is down on every network or that the problem is your connection. The history consists of check samples, not continuous monitoring or an uptime percentage.

Frequently asked questions

If the site responds here, is my internet the problem?

Not necessarily. The response confirms that our server reached it. DNS, a VPN, your browser, regional restrictions or network differences may explain the issue on your device. Try another network and share the diagnosis with support.

Does Site Status monitor my website automatically?

No. Each check is requested by a visitor. There are no periodic checks or outage alerts. Charts show recorded checks only and do not measure uptime.

Why is there no chart for a domain?

The dashboard appears when another IP has checked the same domain within the last 45 days. Without that sample, the current result is still available but no history is invented.

How many checks are included in the history?

At most one record per IP is saved every hour across all domains. More checks can be run within security limits. IPs are not equivalent to people and are not published.

Are my data and full addresses stored?

The history stores only the domain, time, technical result and a cryptographic IP identifier for up to 45 days. Paths and parameters are discarded. The original IP is not in the public history; including it in the diagnosis and PDF is optional. Server access logs follow the portal privacy policy.

Does the app work without internet after installation?

Checks and history require internet access. Installation lets you open the app from its icon; offline, it asks you to reconnect and does not present old results as current.

Do the displayed times measure my internet speed?

No. They measure the steps between the 1kApps server and the checked site. They are not a speed test of the visitor’s connection.
